AKURAT JAKARTA - The INABUYER B2B2G Expo 2026 officially closed at the SMESCO Building in Jakarta on Wednesday (May 7, 2026), after recording potential transactions of IDR 2.2 trillion over the three days.
The exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), in collaboration with the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute, the Association of Indonesian Retailers and Shopping Center Tenants, and SMESCO Indonesia, brought together more than 804 business actors from across Indonesia with ministries/institutions, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), the private sector, and modern retailers.
During the event, 131 agencies and companies participated as buyers and suppliers from ministries/institutions, SOEs, and the private sector.
Various strategic agendas were held, ranging from business matching, exhibitions of superior products, panel discussions, to the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and commitments to cross-sector cooperation.
The Chairman of the Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers and Tenants Association, Budihardjo Iduansjah, stated that the potential transaction achievement demonstrates the significant opportunities for MSMEs and local products to strengthen domestic trade.
"The potential transactions achieved during the three-day event demonstrate that collaboration between the government, state-owned enterprises, modern retailers, and business actors can open broader market access while strengthening the domestic supply chain," Budihardjo said at the Closing Ceremony of the INABUYER B2B2G Expo 2026.
According to him, amidst global economic challenges, strengthening the domestic trade ecosystem must continue to be a priority to encourage investment, new store openings, and the growth of shopping centers as competitive modern trade hubs.
Budihardjo also assessed that priority government programs need to be implemented in a targeted and sustainable manner to have a direct impact on the community's economy.
He cited the presence of strategic program booths such as National Housing and Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) at this year's INABUYER as evidence that government spending and project needs can be directly linked to the capacity of MSMEs and local products.
"When spending is absorbed domestically and the domestic supply chain is active, it will create a multiplier effect on people's purchasing power, business growth, job creation, and strengthening the national economy," he said.
Meanwhile, Temmy Satya Permana, Deputy for Small Business at the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, stated that the enthusiasm of MSMEs during the INABUYER B2B2G Expo 2026 was a crucial opportunity to strengthen the national business ecosystem.
"This event is not just about meeting and transacting, but also a platform for MSMEs to learn, collaborate, and strengthen the national business ecosystem. I am confident that this momentum will propel MSMEs to the next level and open up more opportunities for sustainable partnerships," said Temmy.
At the closing ceremony, the committee also presented INABUYER Awards 2026 to several exhibitors.
PT Regon Makmur Sejahtera won the Most Favorite Exhibitor award based on social media, while Bank BRI was named the owner of the best booth.
The Ministry of Transportation won the buyer with the greatest transaction potential in the ministry/institution category, PT Pertamina Persero won the BUMN category, and Indomaret was awarded the private sector with the greatest potential for cooperation.
Through this event, the INABUYER B2B2G Expo is expected to continue to be a catalyst in strengthening an inclusive and sustainable domestic trade ecosystem, while simultaneously encouraging the increased role of MSMEs in national economic development.
